The meeting started at 7:15

Pat asked for the reading of the previous meeting

Pat asked Gerry Becker for the safety report.

Gerry reminded everyone that it is a good time to recycle your batteries and check over your airplanes.

Pat gave the presidents report. He announced the new president and vice president of hobby acres.

Please don’t buzz the lawn mowing crew when they are out mowing. If anything give them a hand.

Pat asked for committee reports – there are no activities planned for the rest of this year.

Old business

The windsock will be replaced and George is working on this. The sign has been taken down and brought to Russ’s plane mfg. plant for the winter.

New business

Pat opened the floor for officer nominations for 2005. Voting will be held at the next meeting in November.

Secretary – Jim Bradshaw

AMA renewal is coming up. AMA is required to be current as of January 1 st if you wish to fly. This is not negotiable. If you want to fly on January 1 st for the annual polar bear fly you must be current AMA members.

Next month meeting will be held here again. The December meeting will be held at the WECU annex building on Holly Street.

Pat opened the floor for discussion for a debit card to be issued for club use. One card to be used for incidentals like food for the monthly meetings. Pat requested a motion from the club to approve this request. The vote was taken and so approved.

Pat requested pictures for airfest and combat to be posted on the website.

Fuel is in now. Please make arrangements to pick your fuel up at the field.

Jerry McLean made a motion that we donate $150.00 to the flight museum. This was voted on and passed.

Thelock on the gate is broken and needs to be replaced. Russ will have this replaced.

Charlie brought a preview of a quickie 300 plane that he is experimenting with for a possible second class of pylon racing. This would use the same engine and propeller as we currently use on the T-6 planes.
