The meeting was called to order at 7:00 PM at the Heritage Flight Museum .

OFFICER REPORTS and OLD BUSINESS:

Secretary: The minutes of the September meeting were read and approved;

Treasurer: The treasurer reported on the club finances and the current bank balance.

Vice President: Nothing to report.

President: The President, Pat Eastman reported the field had been mowed, and that the safety barriers had been removed for the winter. He also informed the club of the increase of field dues to $70 from $50.The total dues for soloed pilots will be $80 in 2007. The cost of gasoline for mowing, and other materials for maintenance of the field has made the increase necessary. It was also brought up that with fewer people flying during the winter, pilots need to be more safety conscious, especially when flying alone at the field. Pat also advised that when more than one plane is in the air, it is important to fly the appropriate traffic pattern to avoid possible mid air collisions.

Pat asked for volunteers for a work party on Oct. 28 th to clear the drainage ditches and to take down the club’s sign for the winter.
