Minutes Feb/16

Earl opened the meeting at 7 P.M.

Scott did the reading of the minutes for a recap of the previous meeting.

Jeremy did the treasurers report and brought everyone up to date on finances.

Earl read the club rules and opened the floor for discussion of each them.

Don Wilson brought us up to date on Air Fest. He now has the name of the person who is running Air Fest. He will contact him and give us another update next month.

Pat gave us a report and led a discussion on the water issues at the field. Pat met with a person from the Lummi Nation who is in charge of ground water run offs. He supplied Pat with the information we will need to help our field be a dry place to fly. After that meeting Pat led a group of volunteers to see if
they can clear the obstructions in the waterways. The clearing of the ground cover and weeds at a critical spot for dainage will be an on going project and might have to wait for better weather in the spring. Pat will update us on the progress and the need for more volunteers at the next meeting.

There was an announcement that after the meeting Jerry Becker will play a video tape on safety.

The meeting was closed at 8:10 P.M.
