Minutes Nov/04

The meeting started at 7:10

Pat opened the meeting with requesting the reading of the previous minutes.

Earl reviewed some problems that he and others have had with receiving their AMA cards.

Pat asked Gerry Becker for a safety report. He reviewed the safety issues and reports that others have done this past year.

Russ Haines thanked all the members that have helped him out with the mowing and ground work this past year.

Pat warned everyone that the field is starting to turn into the yearly pond. Please be careful with the stove in the clubhouse. Do not stoke this up so that the stove will get too hot and may cause a fire in the clubhouse.

No committee reports for now.

Old business

The pilot stations are down for the winter. They will return in the spring. The lock on the gate has been replaced. All the fuel has been picked up.

New business

Nominations for the officers: We will be voting tonight.

Nominations were made for the positions available and a vote was cast.

President – Jerry McLean

Vice President – Charlie

Treasurer – Gail Buck

Secretary – Jim Bradshaw

Pat reminded everyone that AMA is due the first of the year and the club dues are due February.

The next months meeting will be held at WECU for the Christmas party.

Pat announced that the gravel road would be paved this next summer. From his understanding this should not affect big bird next year.

Pat urged everyone to come to the annual polar bear fly on January first at noon. Jerry and Charlie will take this event on as their first event of the year. Pat requested a motion for this event. The motion was passed.

Charlie did a show and tell on a plane.
