The meeting was called to order at 7 pm in the Heritage Flight Museum. There were 26 members and guests present.

The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved.

The treasurer gave the financial report. The bank balance is still in the black after outstanding bills were paid.

Old Business:

The December meeting will be held at the WECU facility on Holly Street at 7 pm. A brief meeting will be followed by the annual Holiday festivities with goodies baked by Mrs. Gail Buck.

New Business:

Safety Officers Report:

Gerry Becker presented a revised set of the field rules. The new rules reflect changes to accommodate the new 2.4 GHz frequencies and to arrange the rules in different sequence. The new order regroups the rules in a more logical order. He distributed several copies to the group for consideration. He has a laminated copy ready to post at the field.

Miscellaneous .Other Business:

Rennie Stefani proposed plans for a new club fuel order for 2008. He cited prices from a potential new supplier. He passed a sign-up sheet around to get an idea of how much fuel to order. An acquaintance of Rennie’s has donated an assortment of hobby items to sell. His idea is to sell some of the items by silent auction at the December meeting. and the rest to be added to the monthly raffle.

There was discussion on whether or not to continue the monthly raffle. After some discussion it was decided to continue the raffle but make it self sustaining by only using the proceeds from the previous month’s raffle.

Member who have Comcast email have not been receiving the bulk email messages. It was determined that Comcast’s spam filtration system is the culprit. There were several solutions proposed after some discussion.

Bill Schnobrich presented Rory Cahill with his solo certificate. Kevin Ott has also soloed but was not present to get his certificate.

Pat Eastman cited the need for a new windsock at the field. New ones will be purchased from Lee Carter.

Gerry Becker proposed that the club buy some coffee mugs with the club logo, etc. for sale and to use as prizes. He will do more research on pricing and possible designs to present to the club...
