Minutes July /04

The meeting started at 6:10

Pat opened the meeting

Scott read the minutes from the previous month.

Pat announced that there is only two events left. The all bird and the fun fly

Pat brought up the possibility of a fuel order.

Dave Readille brought a pattern ship to do a show and tell on later.

Pat announced that he would turn the meeting over to Earl as Pat will be going to work.

Earl asked for a reading of the treasurer’s report.

Earl asked for Jerry and Charlie to give reports on pylon and combat.

Earl asked for old business.

We will not be flying at the Lynden fair grounds. We will not fly at the Haggen’s parking lot in Ferndale.

Earl gave a presentation on R/C aircraft top a church youth group.

Renny gave a presentation about safety and flying at our field.

Gerry Becker followed up the presentation with bringing a copy of the IMAA manual on ground handling for anyone to review.

Earl backed up and wanted to talk a little bit on the Air Fest and the scale meet.

Don spoke a little on how things went and that it was a success.

Gerry Becker gave a recap of the scale meet. Everything went well. No accidents or injuries were reported. We were under budget and on schedule for this event.

The meeting ended at 6:40 and was opened for show and tell.

Dave Readille closed the meeting with a presentation of his pattern ship and a flying routine.
