The meeting opened at 6:05
Scott gave the reading of the previous minutes.
Note: there is a correction from the previous minutes. The Ferndale fly request is not dead. Pat has tried numerous times to get a hold of them and there is no response.
Mark gave the treasures report. Mark asked that everyone have their A.M.A card stamped.
Pat told everyone that he would be leaving at 6:20, as he has to go to work.
Pat announced we have two events left. The all bird and the fun fly. Please come out and lend a helping hand for set up. There is a camp out that night for anyone who wants to camp.
Pat announced all club fuel is sold out. Renee is going to roll out a new order for fuel.
Pat announced that we have two broken windows in the back of the clubhouse. We will look at the RE store for glass.
Pat talked about a plane that accidentally hit another plane on the ground while the student was being trained. Pat will go over buddy cords with the instructors and see what would be a good course of action to prevent accidents in the future.
Pat turned the meeting over to Earl to lead the meeting.
Charlie posed the possibility of another fence or barrier to put out in front of pilots to help protect them and the planes. For right now we will keep the pilot station guards up and see if this will help out. More discussion will follow later on this.
Earl asked for a report on combat and Pylon.
Earl asked for Renee to give costs on fuel. He has order forms to be filled out.
Don asked for help with a survey from the Port of Bellingham for how AirFest went this year.
We discussed a revisal of the Big Bird weekend and see what we might want to do with coordinating this and other events in regard to AirFest.
