Bell Air Sept 15 th, 2008 Meeting

 Call to Order:

The meeting was called to order at 6:30 PM by the President Kelvin Buck.

There were 23 members and 4 guests present.

The Treasurer reported a balance of +/- $2,500.00 .There is a balance owed to

Hobbie Co.for some new members.

The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved.

A safety report was given on BREATHING SAFETY

Old Business:

-Kelvin thanked everone involed in the ALL BIRD FLY-IN and POT LUCK event and pronounced that the event was a success.

- RV parking was discussed, it was pointed out that RV’s require level ground to set up on.

- Kelvin repeted that nominations for club offices would be held at the Oct 15 th 2008 meeting and that Kelvin and Gail Buck will not be avaible for next year.

New Business

• John from ( Northwest Model Hobby Expo ) spoke about the Feb.6,7,8,-2009 event.
• Fall clean up will be on Oct.4 th at 10 am with a rain out date of Oct. 11 at 10 am . Please bring weed eaters to help.
• The club generator plant needs work! Can any member help? Please let club know at Oct.20 meeting.

• New solo certificate was presented to Matt Coe ( 10 years old)
• Intro of new members Ken Perrin and Robert Bowers.

The meeting was adjourned at 7:00pm
